The Shop Guam Festival returns
MANILA, Philippines - Christmas comes a month earlier for shopaholics at heart as the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) brings back its signature-shopping event — the “Shop Guam Festival” (SGF). Recognized as the biggest shopping festival in the region, this year’s edition of the SGF is expected to thrill tourists visiting Guam once it kicks off on Nov. 1. It will run until Feb. 15, 2016.
As a highly-anticipated event in Guam, it attracts thousands of tourists globally to take advantage of the extensive lineup of exclusive discounts and offerings from retail, dining and optional tours establishments during this 107-day-long festival.
In past years, Guam has transformed itself into a shopper’s haven with its growing number of international retailers that offer the latest in-season designs and all-year-round outlet store shopping. A favorite activity for Filipino travelers, irresistible shopping deals are not hard to come by when visiting Guam as it offers a wide variety of outlet stores and international retailers at the Guam Premier Outlets, Agana Shopping Center, JP Superstore, and Micronesia Mall. Luxury shoppers, on the other hand, can also find their favorite brands, at lower prices, at the Tumon Sands Plaza, The Plaza, and T Galleria — all located along Tumon strip.
On top of its duty-free and outlet store shopping offering, Filipinos can also maximize their retail therapy in Guam with the SGF coupon booklets for hundreds of exclusive deals, which they can avail across the island. This year’s coupons include special offers for shopping, food, attraction and discounts for other on island establishments.
