Best clashers named in Globe #NextLevelKa Ultimate Clash Tournament

MANILA, Philippines – After two months of five intense Clash of Clans (CoC) battles around the country, Globe Telecom rounded up the champion clashers from Manila, La Union, Cavite, Cebu, and Davao for the recently held #NextLevelKa Clash of Clans Ultimate Clash.

The first and biggest Clash of Clans tournament in the country was capped off with a championship battle that put the best individual players and clans head to head, all vying for the title of being one of the best Clash of Clans players today. Over 90 participants battled it out at the Glorietta Activity Center held last Sunday, September 16, 2015.

Below are the final winners of the #NextLevelKa Clash of Clans Tournament:

Individual Category (Rookie)

  • Champion – Wilfred Donaire from Cebu with 1,700 trophies
  • 1st runner-up – Jeronimo Santillan from Manila with 1,622 trophies
  • 2nd runner-up – James Eslabon from Cebu with 1,620 trophies

Individual Category (Master)

  • Champion – Felix Ariel Arias Jr. from Cebu with 1,983 trophies
  • 1st runner-up – Stephen Sanceda from Manila with 1,902 trophies
  • 2nd runner-up – Jopet Mejos from Manila with 1,863 trophies

Individual Category (Champion)

  • Champion – Earl Benedict Zuniga from Manila with 2,373 trophies
  • 1st runner-up – HerlynTabudlo from Cebu with 2,304 trophies                                  
  • 2nd runner-up – Arvy HilarreCabahug from Cebu with 2,247 trophies

Clan Category

  • Champion – Filipino Clan from Cavite with 7,744 trophies
  • 1st runner-up – Pinoy Playhouse from Manila with 6,521 trophies
  • 2nd runner-up – Filipino Champ from Davao with 6,409 trophies

For the individual categories - Rookie, Master and Champion - 2nd and 1st runners-up bagged P5,000 and P10,000, respectively,while the champion won P50,000. On the other hand, 2nd runner-up and 1st runner-up winners of the Clan Category got P50,000 and P100,000, respectively, while the champion took home P500,000.

Adding to the tournament’s thrill is a celebrity battle between CoC PH Facebook Community President and Founder Mark Batle and Globe Senior Advisor for Consumer Business,Dan Horan. Batle, a CoC player since November 2012, beatHoran in the friendlymatch.

During the event, guests also got to meet via live video call, the first Clash of Clans legend, Filipino-Japanese CoC player who calls himself Roller. A CoC player for two and a half years shared his strategies in playing CoC. During the live cast, he also showed the audience all 15 of his devices running simultaneously to keep his standing in the mobile game.

Capping off the celebration was an outstanding live performance for acclaimed band Up Dharma Down.
