ABAP holds ballet competition

MANILA, Philippines - The Association of Ballet Academies, Philippines (ABAP) will hold the ABAP Ballet Competition  on Aug. 22 and 23 at the Meralco Theater. For over two decades, A B A P has been at the forefront  in  the development of dance in its various forms through its affiliated members around the country. Founded in 1993, ABAP has gained grounds in the upgrading of classical ballet education through workshops, performances, tours,  and other related activities. This year the board is comprised of Jonathan Terry,  president;  Noemi Onglengco Silangcruz, vice president;  Nida Onglengco Pangan, secretary; Bella Bengco, treasurer; Cely Root, PRO and  Liza de la Fuente as ABAP Ballet Competition 2015 chairman. Its next project will be the annual Danseries slated on Nov. 28 and 29 at the Meralco Theater.
