Paolo Icasas and Marionne Contreras at Pocket Universe Gallery

MANILA, Philippines - Paolo Icasas and Marionne Contreras explore death as a means of experiencing life in “Die by the Drop,” which opens tomorrow at Pocket Universe Gallery, second floor, Saguijo, 7612 Guijo St., San Antonio Village, Makati City.

Icasas and Contreras created the show to draw attention to the significance of temporarily detaching oneself from the demands of the holiday season and its furious pace. The artists desire to jolt the viewer into the importance of finding the comfort and time to reflect on the people and things that matter, thus evading regretful experience.

The opening features live performances by The Black Vomits, Turbo Goth, Carlos Castano, SunDownMuse and Ketamins.
