MANILA, Philippines — Executive Director, Makati Medical Center Foundation

Working alongside Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan has been one of the greatest privileges of my professional life.

At Makati Medical Center Foundation, we know him not only as one of the country's most respected business leaders, but as someone whose compassion has quietly transformed countless lives.

Over the years, I have witnessed his unwavering commitment to making quality healthcare accessible to those who need it most.

Behind every patient given another chance, every family spared from overwhelming medical expenses, and every partnership that continues to strengthen healthcare is a leader who believes that success carries with it the responsibility to serve.

Chairman MVP never settles for simply helping.

He challenges us to think beyond immediate needs and create programs that leave a lasting impact. Through his example, we have learned that corporate social responsibility is not merely about giving: it is about creating opportunities, strengthening institutions and restoring hope.

His greatest legacy is not only the lives he has touched directly, but also the many people he has inspired to serve with greater purpose, generosity and compassion.

He taught me that compassion and excellence belong together, and that true leadership is measured by the lives we touch and the hope we leave behind.

Chairman MVP, thank you for believing in Makati Medical Center Foundation and for entrusting us to carry forward your vision of compassionate service.

To us, you are more than the country's Most Valuable Player — you are a nation-builder.

And with affection, we say this: may you never become a Makati Medical Center patient. But should that day ever come, you will always be our Most Valuable Patient.

Salamat, saludo, at maligayang kaarawan, Chairman MVP!
