Alex Gonzaga gets sentimental as she nears childbirth
MANILA, Philippines — Alex Gonzaga is getting sentimental as she looks back on the special bond she has shared with her baby throughout her pregnancy as she nears her due date.
The actress-content creator recently celebrated the final days of carrying her first child by sharing photos from her maternity shoot on Instagram on Tuesday.
In the photos, Alex wore a black knitted cutout dress as she lovingly cradled her baby bump. Her husband, Lipa City Vice Mayor Mikee Morada, also appeared in some of the snaps, kissing her growing belly.
“I’ll miss carrying you inside my tummy, my baby. It was like having our own little world,” Alex captioned the post.
Alex and Mikee tied the knot in 2020.
The couple previously opened up about experiencing pregnancy losses in 2021, 2023 and 2024. They announced their current pregnancy in May.
When they shared the news, the couple revealed that they had been preparing to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) when they unexpectedly learned that they had conceived naturally.
