MANILA, Philippines — An online Pinoy pride apparel company opened its first physical store in Imus, Cavite recently.

Philstar.com first featured Juan The Mad clothing line in March 2023 when owner Michael Blas said that the brand was inspired by OPM icon Francis Magalona.

Blas said that the brand will be more accessible to customers now that it has a physical store.

Same vision, same pa din sa pagiging makabayan at same authenticity. Ang difference lang ngayon, mas lalawak yung experience ng community namin at mas marami pa kaming pwedeng gawin in the future tulad ng exclusive releases, collaborations, at mas personal na connection sa mga supporters," he added.

Blas reiterated his statement in 2023 that Magalona was the inspiration behind the brand.

Apart from the physical store, the brand owner said that his clothing apparel, which includes shorts, caps, sandals, socks and shirts, reached Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States through resellers.
