Content creators take center stage at first-ever ‘What If... Watch Party?!’

MANILA, Philippines — Independent digital storytellers are gathering in Caloocan City for the first "What If... Watch Party?!," a showcase of original Filipino-made content featuring exclusive premieres, live discussions and direct audience engagement.
Organized by Create Beyond Dreams, the event will be held on June 12 at Dogzilla Studio.
The watch party will bring together emerging creators and filmmakers, giving attendees a chance to watch unreleased content alongside the people behind the projects.
Unlike traditional screenings or fan meet-and-greet events, "What If... Watch Party?!" will include discussions on the stories, challenges and creative process behind each featured work.
Filipino stories on screen. Leading the lineup is "Surviving 24 Hours in a Jungle" by We The Future, an adventure documentary following Spart Farnacio, Sheanner Navarro and RS Magtaan as they attempt to survive in the wilderness for an entire day.
The project explores resilience, teamwork and survival amid unpredictable conditions.
Also premiering is "Metro Manila Has a Sidewalk Problem" by Sheanner Navarro, a documentary-style investigation into the challenges faced by pedestrians in the capital.
Through on-the-ground observations, the film examines issues involving accessibility, mobility and urban planning.
Filmmaker Zarckaroo will present "Ground Zero," a documentary that revisits Marawi years after the siege. The project highlights recovery efforts in local communities and the resilience of residents rebuilding their lives after conflict.
Rounding out the lineup is "Pandami" by Adam Alejo, a travel documentary inspired by chance. Alejo placed all 7,641 islands of the Philippines on a roulette wheel and committed to visiting whichever destination was selected, uncovering local stories along the way.
Event details. Beyond the screenings, attendees can join live Q&A sessions, behind-the-scenes discussions, networking activities, meet-and-greets and interactive experiences.
The event will be held at Dogzilla Studio at 102 7th Street, Grace Park East, Caloocan City. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the program running from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are priced at P500. Organizers said slots are limited and nearly sold out.
Create Beyond Dreams said the event aims to celebrate independent Filipino storytelling and build stronger connections between creators and their audiences.
