MANILA, Philippines — Walang plano ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na magpatupad ng travel ban sa South Korea kasunod ng deklarasyon ng martial law sa nabanggit na bansa.

Sa Bagong Pilipinas public briefing, sinabi ni DFA Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega na natapos na ang deklarasyon ng martial law kaya hindi na kailangan pa ang travel ban.

Pero, kailangan pa ring mag-ingat aniya ang mga turistang Pinoy at iwasang bumisita malapit sa border o demilitarization zone.

Sa ngayon aniya ay maayos ang kalagayan ng mga Pilipino sa South Korea at pinapayuhan lamang ang mga ito na sundin kung ano ang mga ipinatutupad na patakaran matapos alisin kaagad ang martial law.

Mayroong tinatayang 70,000 na mga Pilipinong nagtatrabaho at naninirahan na sa South Korea.
