MANILA, Philippines — Dahil sa iringan ngayon ng mga dating magkakampi sa pulitika, hinamon ng isang kongresista si Vice President Sara Duterte na magbitiw na sa puwesto bilang Kalihim ng Department of Education (DepEd). 

“The Vice President should show some decency by resigning from her DepEd post at the very least,” pahayag ni Manila 3rd District Rep. Joel Chua nitong Sabado.

 Ginawa ni Chua ang hamon kasunod ng sinabi ni First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos na “bad shot” na sa kaniya si VP Sara matapos namang sabihin ng ama nitong si dating Pangulong Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte na bangag si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. 

Bukod rito, dumadalo rin aniya sa mga prayer rally ng mga supporters ni Digong si VP Sara kung saan nauuwi ito sa “political agenda” sa pagbatikos at pagmumura sa administrasyong Marcos ng mga miyembro ng pamilya Duterte.

 “Her (VP Sara) fa­mily unleashed a barrage of insults and attacks directly to the President and yet she does nothing and is still enjoying the perks of being part of the official family,” anang Kongresista.

  “She should draw the line instead of pretending to be a full partner of the President,” anang solon.

 Ayon pa kay Chua, nanahimik din si VP Sara sa isyu ng soberanya at pambansang patrimonya sa West Philippine Sea at Exclusive Economic Zone sa kabila ng pangha-harass at pambu-bully ng China sa mga mangingis­dang Pinoy, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources at NAMRIA (National Mapping and Resource Information Authority). 

Samantala, ayon pa sa solon, isa ring pagsasayang ng oras ang ipinatutupad na Catch-up Fridays ng DepEd schools dahil wala naman aniya itong resulta.
