West Visayas business execs enjoy TF editorial

VERY GOOD MAN.

Some prominent business leaders from a Western Visayan city were observed to be taking turns in reading this newspaper’s editorial (“Rama Must Decide On His Legacy Now”) last Thursday morning while huddled in the pre-departure area of the Mactan airport waiting for their flight for Manila. “Mabuot kaayo ni nga tawo si Rama, eh. (Rama is very good man).”

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Another man in the group agreed, saying: “Yes, that’s true. Bisan insultohon ni Tomas, tawgon lang gihapon niya nga constructive criticism. (Even if he is being insulted he still calls it constructive criticism)

UNPLEASANT REMARKS. The Ear informer (an Ilonggo tv executive) said he heard unpleasant remarks from the Ilonggo businessmen about both the mayor (Mike Rama) and the former mayor (Tom O).
