CEBU, Philippines — Ang mag-agaw nga Timothy Joseph ug John Arvin Chiong nangu sa listahan sa mga manaog sa 2nd Fr. Francis Manugas Cup tennis tournament didto sa lungsod sa Moalboal, habagatang bahin sa Sugbo ning bag-ohay pa lamang.

Giusban ni Timothy Joseph og parot si French-Vietnamese Hong Josse, 6-4, aron paglugwa nga 40-above Class A champion.

Wala sab magpabitin ang ig-agaw niyang si John Arvin nga mipukan ni Jake Carba, kanhi varsity player sa University of the Visayas (UV), aron langkaton ang korona sa 39-below   category.

Samtang si Isagani Hernandez sa Moalboal BFP mikuha sab og atensiyon human iyang gilupig si Romualdo Caballero aron sakmiton ang 40-above Class B title.

Sa kinatibuk-an, katloan ka tennis enthusiasts ang mipakita'g aksiyon sa usa ka semanang torneyo nga gipasiugdahan ni Rev. Fr. Francis Manugas, ang kura paroko sa San Juan Nepomuceno Parish sa Moalboal, isip kabahin sa selebrasyon sa ika-40 nga sumad sa adlaw niyang natawhan.

"Tennis is one of my favorite sports and it's a great way to stay in shape. You also get to meet people from all walks of life so I decided to organize a tournament for my 40th birthday so the players from all the different clubs here will also get a chance to congregate and meet each other," matud pa ni Fr. Manugas, nga moduwa sab og table tennis ug billiards.

"I am also very thankful for the support of the Moalboal LGU, especially Mayor Titing Cabaron, for supporting the tournament," dugang pa ni Fr. Manugas.

Ang ubang mga partisipante naglangkob nilang Mark Eduard Calme, Lorenzo Bocanegra, Jake Carba, Gresulmar  Carba, Justine Tacoloy, Christian Cabasag, Joel Faustrilla, Mike Limpag, Jomar Quilantang, Aldren Singson, Clark Babiera, Aner Ortega, Rafil Lobitaña, Darius Redoble, John Wardel Redoble, Raymond Mendoza, Helario Coderos, Bryan Antecristo, Julius Tabiolo, Christian Seth Burgos Rabuya, Junsell N. Suringa, Juanito E. Edrial Jr., Noel Grengia ug Buen Rabuya.
