Bakbakan sa PBA mas matindi na! — Chot
MANILA, Philippines — Mas lalong tumitindi ang bakbakan sa PBA Philippine Cup base sa obserbasyon ni Talk ’N Text head coach Chot Reyes.
Aminado si Reyes na lumakas ang bawat teams sa kumperensiyang ito dahil sa pagpasok ng ilang matitikas na players at ilang trades na naganap.
Isa ang Tropang Giga sa mga may malakas na lineup sa mga nakalipas na taon.
“I’ve said this before, all of the teams have really upgraded. TNT, I don’t think we are no longer (the) mighty TNT. The sooner we accept that fact, the better it’s going to be good for us,” ani Reyes.
Kumayod muna ng husto ang TNT bago itakas ang 92-90 panalo laban sa Meralco noong Linggo.
“We can’t just win on talent, or just by showing up. We really need to outwork and outhustle every team we play. Our record is the way it is,” ani Reyes.
Lumasap ng kabiguan ang TNT sa kamay ng Blackwater at NorthPort — ang dalawang koponan na gumagawa ng ingay sa kumperensiyang ito.
“Clearly, Blackwater and NorthPort just outworked us. A lot can be said about the energy and effort of the players but it starts with the coach,” ani Reyes.
Alam ni Reyes na mas matindi na ang bakbakan para makakuha ng panalo. Wala nang easy win hindi tulad ng dati.
“Hindi mas humirap, sobrang hirap,”ani Reyes.
