Manila No.1 bilang Most Competitive City

MANILA, Philippines – Pinarangalan bilang number 1 most competitive city ang lungsod ng Maynila ng National Competitiveness Council of the Philippines na ginanap sa Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

Mismong sina Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada at Vice Mayor Isko Moreno ang nanguna sa pagtanggap ng parangal bilang No 1. Most Competitive City Award for 2015 .

Nabatid na tatlong kategorya ang pinaglabanan na kinabibilangan ng  economic dynamism, infrastructure, at government efficiency.  Nanguna rin ang  lungsod sa infrastructure.

Ayon kay Estrada, nasa ikawalong puwesto ang lungsod noong nakaraang taon subalit ngayon ay nasa unang puwesto na ito na indikasyon na malaki ang pag-unlad ng lungsod.

Bukod sa Maynila nasa  top 10 Highly Urbanized Cities ay Manila, Makati, Cebu, Quezon City, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Parañaque, Valenzuela, Caloocan at Iloilo.
