Plot twist: Maris Racal snaps pic with Cup of Joe singer Gian Bernardino
MANILA, Philippines — Actress-singer Maris Racal sparked intrigue after sharing a photo with Cup of Joe vocalist Gian Bernardino.
Maris posted on Instagram pictures of her with Gian, who is jointly tagged on the post, as she hides behind a bouquet of flowers.
"Plot twist," Maris simply captioned the post accompanied by a white heart emoji.
She later posted on TikTok a video of her and Gian doing "Big Guy" trend, both of them wearing the same outfits in the Instagram photos.
That video, which currently has 1.7 million views and over 140,000 likes, was simply captioned "Love month" by Maris.
The comments sections were immediately stormed by fans of Maris, Gian and Cup of Joe wondering if this was a hard launch by the actress, especially with Valentine's Day approaching.
Seemingly pushing the narrative in that direction were Instagram comments by Dani Barretto, Albie Casiño, Jugs Jugueta, Joj Agpangan, drag queen J Quinn, and ABS-CBN executive Eric John Salut.

Some fans guessed that Maris might be releasing a song with Cup of Joe while others estimated Maris might be the latest guest on Gian's podcast ""G On Top."
Maris was previously in a relationship with two others singers, first Iñigo Pascual then Rico Blanco, the latter ending in mid-2024.
Last year Gian confirmed he identified as pansexual and was attracted to anyone regardless of their gender identity.
