Lian Paz opens up on reconciliation with ex Paolo Contis
MANILA, Philippines — Former EB Babe member Lian Paz attributed her reconciliation with ex-husband Paolo Contis to the heavens.
In a report by Pep.ph, Lian — who has two daughters with Paolo, Xonia and Xalene — talked about Paolo and the actor's good relationship with her current partner John Cabahug.
"I'm happy because hindi naman ito about sa amin ni Paolo or ni John. This is all because of God and His love for us. Only God can turn pain into joy and heal our hearts," Lian told the outlet.
"I want my children to see God's hand in everything sa buhay namin. He is constantly working in our lives and He's writing every story. Making it a beautiful testimony," she added.
Lian also said she hopes Paolo has a good life being the father of her children, "I never taught my children to hate their father no matter what."
She did admit family life had its difficulties with Paolo still active in local entertainment, and their children's peers would always ask about current issues.
"But again, God protects and God is faithful. He is always good to those who fear Him! God looks at our hearts," Lian ended.
Paolo and Lian married in 2009, welcomed their two daughters the next two years, and separated in 2012. Lian met John a year later and moved to his home province of Cebu in 2015.
