Why is John Lloyd Cruz not part of new ABS-CBN show?

MANILA, Philippines- John Lloyd Cruz clarifies the reason why he didn't push through with ABS-CBN's upcoming drama series “Bridges.”

Different reports came out as to why the Kapamilya actor turned down the project, where he supposed to star with Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales.

“'Yong mga lumalabas na tinanggihan ko, hindi 'yon totoo,” John Lloyd denied, Philippine Entertainment Portal reported. “October kasi, mag-e-expire 'yong contract ko. Hindi ko siya magagawa while I’m negotiating my contract with ABS-CBN.

“Siyempre, mahirap 'yon, kasi hindi pa kayo nagkakasundo, may ginagawa ka na. Paano kung hindi magkasundo, e, di lalong nabitin ang project?”

Although his contract is still under negotiations, he expressed his desire to remain in the Kapamilya network, contrary to other reports that he will be moving to a different network.

For now, he would like to focus on settling his contract before working on a new project.
