Michael V happy to work with Ogie again

MANILA, Philippines - Michael V is now preparing for his upcoming show in TV5.

He taped the first and celebrity episode of “Killer Karaoke” Friday afternoon, Nov. 8. One of the challengers for the pilot episode is his close friend Ogie Alcasid.

This is the first time that they were seen working together after Ogie moved toTV5 this year. They used to be the main tandem in GMA’s long-running gag show “Bubble Gang.”

“Trabaho-wise nakaka-miss talaga ‘yan,” the comedian admits. “Kasi yung Mondays namin yun ang usually bonding time namin yun, e, kapag magkasama kami sa isang gag show.

“Sa ngayon, although magkapitbahay naman kami, halos madalas kami magkita, yung working experience, yun ang nakaka-miss, e,” added Michael V.

Seeing how much they enjoy working together and how effective their chemistry is, some have thought that this could lead to them working together.

“Hindi na malabo yun (that they work together),” said Michael V. But as of now, “yung schedule ko puno na, kumbaga quota na ako. Hintayin muna natin matapos ang isa bago ako mag-move on.”

Another thing that he considers before accepting any projects is that it won should not conflict with his shows in GMA, which are “Bubble Gang” and “Pepito Manaloto.”

The pilot episode of “Killer Karaoke Pinoy Naman” will be on Nov. 16, 8:30 p.m. at the Weekend Do It Better block of TV5.
