Jessica renews exclusive GMA contract

MANILA, Philippines - On her 28th year in the broadcast industry, the country’s most awarded broadcaster Jessica Soho renewed her exclusive contract with GMA Network.

The first Filipina who won the George Foster Peabody Award for Investigative Journalism in 2000, Jessica hosts the top-rating Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho. She also anchors GMA News TV’s primetime newscast State of the Nation with Jessica Soho and banners the public affairs program Brigada.

Jessica, who was cited by Reader’s Digest Asia as the country’s most trusted news presenter for two years in a row, is also the network’s vice president for news programs.

This month, Jessica will lead the GMA Network’s coverage of the 2013 mid-term elections — GMA News and Public Affairs’ Eleksyon 2013.
