German conducts 2-day workshop

MANILA, Philippines - Margrit Lenssen, a noted children’s television expert from Germany is conducting a two-day certificate course on children’s television production for Anak TV, its television member networks and independent producers tomorrow, April 25 and on April 26 at the SGI Building in Quezon City.

Brought in by sponsors Goethe Institut and Prix Jeunesse (Munich), the workshop sessions will also showcase best works of kids’ TV from other countries in what is internationally known as the Prix Jeunesse Suitcase.

The over 40 participants from various stations and independent groups will be officially welcomed by DepEd Undersecretary Alberto Muyot and Anak TV president Bob del Rosario. There will be discussions on what attracts children, how low budgeted but quality productions are made and topics like diversity, news programs and documentaries for children and others.
