Pagtanggap ng PNP sa mga K-to-12 graduates, ‘fake news’
MANILA, Philippines — Isa umanong “fake news” ang mga kumakalat na impormasyon sa social media sa di-umano’y pagtanggap ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ng mga K-to-12 graduate upang makapasok sa kanilang hanay.
Paliwanag PNP, ito ay dahil sa may kuwalipikasyon ang dapat na sundin ng isang aplikante.
Ayon sa PNP, ilan sa minimum educational requirement nila ay pagkakaroon ng Bachelor’s Degree holder, pumasa sa National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Exam, gayundin sa anumang Board Exams o Professional Civil Service Exam.
Gayunman, exempted dito ang mga nakakuha ng latin honors gaya ng Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, at Summa Cum Laude.
Pinayuhan ng PNP ang publiko na mag-ingat at maging mapanuri sa anumang nababasa online upang hindi maging biktima ng maling impormasyon.
Samantala, pinag- iingat naman ni Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos ang publiko laban sa naglipana niyang fake accounts sa facebooks.
Ayon sa kalihim, may mga pekeng account ang ginagamit ng mga scammer para makapambiktima.
Isa lang ang opisyal na Facebook Page nito at official account na Facebook.com/benhur.c.
Paalala nito sa publiko, maging mapanuri at huwag magbigay ng mga personal na impormasyon at huwag basta maniwala sa nababasa online.
