Congratulations on being recognized Regional Newspaper of the Year by the Rotary club of Manila.

Being the oldest newspaper in Cebu province, The Freeman has been consistent in arming Cebuanos with precise and accurate information. I hope that this achievement will always inspire you and the rest of the team in upholding your motto, "The fair and fearless," in delivering news to the Queen City of the South.
