Ordinansa sa nano-enterprise sa Quezon City, pirmado na ni Mayor Joy

MANILA, Philippines — Pinirmahan na ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang ordinansa na bumuo ng guidelines para mapabilis ang regulatory processes sa registration ng mga nano-enterprises tulad ng carinderia, sari-sari stores at benepisyaryo ng Pangkabuhayan QC Assistance program na tumatalima sa regulas­yon ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Ang nilagdaang Ordinance No. SP-3272, S-2024 na tinawag na QC NANO Enterprise Ordinance of 2024 na iniakda ni Councilor Candy Medina at Majority Leader Dorothy Delarmente ay magkakaloob din ng financial resources at access sa mga nano enterprise upang mapalago ang kanilang negosyo.

“As a way of recognizing the vital role that nano-entrepreneurs play in our local communities, including sari-sari stores, carinderias, and beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan QC Assistance Program, we will provide them with the necessary support to thrive,”sabi ni Belmonte.

“In times of crisis, such as natural disasters or public health emergencies, the registration process will help us quickly identify and extend assistance to affected nano-enterpri­ses,” sabi naman ni Ms Margie Mejia, head ng Business Permit and Licensing Department.

Ang  nano-enterpri­ses ay isang pangkabuhayan ng mga self-employed individuals na may puhunan na hindi tataas sa P50,000 at may gross sales  na hindi lalampas sa P250,000. Nalilimitahan ng ordinansa ang documentary requirements ng mga nano-enterprises para sa mga bago at renewal business permit applications. ito rin ay exempted sa pagbabayad ng local business taxes at regulatory fees.

Kamakalawa ay nailunsad ang registration ng nano-enterprises sa pamamagitan ng Online Business Permit Application System (OBPAS) sa BPLD.

Matapos makumpleto ang registration process, binibigyan ang mga nano enterprise ng priority consideration sa financial assistance prog­rams na inaalok ng QC LGU at national govern­ments kabilang na sa mga grants, subsidies, loans, at iba pang uri ng financial aid.
