An original heartthrob in his time (early ‘50s) was the late Ramon Revilla, Sr.
He had for a ka-love team the beautiful Gloria Romero, who, at that time, Sampaguita Pictures was determined to make a distinct leading lady.
Their first team-up was Mr. Kasintahan, which was a big hit, so did their other films together, such as Cofradia, Kurdapya, Anak sa Panalangin at Recuerdo.
Surprisingly, though, hindi sila na-link sa isa’t isa.
