'Goin' Bulilit' star Igiboy Flores graduates from college
MANILA, Philippines — Former child star and "Goin' Bulilit" cast member Ignatius John "Igiboy" Flores finished his Business Administration degree, majoring in Marketing Management, from AMA University - Online Education.
Flores announced his college completion on his Instagram page, beginning his post on how he always told his peers how important education is and now it is something he himself can be proud of.
He recalled not having a good mindset some years back and even reconsidered finishing his studies in a different institution as he already had a stable job.
"Nang medyo nagkaka-edad na tayo, doon ko napag isip-isip na may kulang, hindi ako buo. Ano pa ba ang pwede kong iambag sa lipunan maliban sa pagpapasaya ng mga tao sa pamamagitan ng pag-arte at komedya?" Flores continued. "Dun ko naisip na ang pagtatapos ng pag-aaral ang bubuo sa hinahanap kong pagkukulang."
The former child actor expressed his gratitude to the Lord, his college teachers, the family of his "Goin' Bulilit" co-star Sharlene San Pedro, his companions in Star Magic and Star Music, and his family and friends.
San Pedro were among the "Goin' Bulilit" cast members who congratulated Flores alongside Mika dela Cruz, Kristel Fulgar, and CJ Navato. Jake Ejercito, Baron Geisler, JM De Guzman, Sheena Belarmino, Theodore Boborol, Kobie Brown, and Jai Agpangan also congratulated the actor.
"Sobrang nakakataba ng puso. Maraming salamt sa inyong lahat," Flores told his well-wishers.
Flores and San Pedro were in the original cast of "Goin' Bulilit" when it began airing in 2005. Flores "graduated" from the show in 2009 with Miles Ocampo, Nikki Bagaporo, and Yong An Chiu.
