Gloc-9 drops friendship-themed track 'Tara G!'

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino rapper Gloc-9 has released "Tara G!," a new song centered on friendship and shared experiences.

Released worldwide on October 30, 2026, the track takes its title from the Filipino expression "Tara G!," commonly used to invite friends or family to join an activity or gathering.

Gloc-9 brings his storytelling style to the song, which focuses on samahan and the connections formed through shared experiences.

The song was released in collaboration with GameZone as part of its "Tara G! Sama Tayo." campaign.

The campaign draws on card-playing as a social activity among Filipino families and friends, where games often become occasions for conversation and bonding.

GameZone spokesperson Ava Castillo said the collaboration was intended to extend the campaign through music.

"We wanted 'Tara G! Sama Tayo.' to be more than a campaign line. Music gives us a way to bring that invitation into Filipino culture in a form people can hear, share, and make their own. Gloc-9 was a natural collaborator because his storytelling has always been rooted in real Filipino experiences," Castillo said.
