14 golds hinakot ng Philippine Army

Labing-apat na medalyang ginto ang nakopo ng Phil. Army team matapos itong ideklarang overall champion sa ginanap na ASEAN Rifle Meet sa Brunei, Darussalam, ayon sa ulat kahapon.
Sinabi ni Army Spokesman Major Bartolome Bacarro, ang naturang kompetisyon ng 15th ASEAN Armies Riffle Meet (ARMM) 2005 ay idinaos mula Setyembre 5-11 na nilahukan ng Pilipinas, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Brunei, Malaysia, Laos at Cambodia.
"Our team had won 14 golds medals, five silver medals, six bronze medals and five perpetual trophies. The Philippine Army bagged the overall championship," buong pagmamalaking pahayag ni Bacarro.
Ang 52-man Phil. Army contingent na nagpartisipa sa annual riffle meet ay nagwagi ng kabuuang 25 medalya, 14 dito ay ginto, limang tropeo.
Kabilang sa mga nakakuha ng gold ay sina Lt. Colonel Alexander Ambal, champion pistol; Cpl. Jennifer Bellen ng Womens Auxilliary Corps (WAC), champion ladies pistol; Sgt. Dominador Aowat, champion carbine individual at iba pa. (Joy Cantos)
