Old couple tries to see a movie for free, foiled

NO PAY, NO ENTRY. An old couple, maybe in their 70s, tried to get inside a moviehouse without buying tickets at the ticket booth. They were not allowed to get in. The husband argued that a neighbor had assured them they could get in free because they are old people. “Gibinuangan ra diay tawon sila,” an EAR informer said.

GOOD SAMARITAN. But the old couple managed to get in because someone paid for their tickets. The Good Samaritan was a member of a civic club who expressed their anger at the old couple’s neighbor who played a “nasty joke” at them and put them to shame.
