Why can't videokarera machines be eradicated?

WHY, OH, WHY?. A reader who sounded very angry called up this paper’s publisher to ask: “Why, oh, why can’t the police and local officials get rid of the outlawed video karera?”

He said these officials claim in press statements that they have already wiped out these gambling devices but  they have not.

“Gibinuangan lang ang mabuot nga lungsuranon ug ang media mihatag sab og luna sa maong binuang,” he said.

A LOT OF BULL ... The same reader said claims of some barangay officials that they have already wiped out video karera in their areas “is a lot of bull...” Media should steer clear of these “balooney claims.

”He said video karera continues to flourish in this barangay.
