Conspiracy against life

A LAW EACH DAY (KEEPS TROUBLE AWAY) - Jose C. Sison -
One does not really have to be an economist to see clearly that fast tracking our economic growth does not mainly depend on slowing down our population growth through an aggressive and drastic population control by the use of contraceptives or other artificial means. The health of the Philippine economy depends more on solving the problems of peace and order, graft and corruption, inadequate educational system, too much politics and social injustice perpetrated by big business.

The strong lobby and unrelenting pressure to push through with imposing the contraceptive mentality on our people are so alarming indeed. At first blush, greed and profit motive of the rich countries and their multinational drug companies appear to be the main reason. Now it is becoming more plain and evident that there is truly a bigger conspiracy behind this kind of population control program. And the Philippines is just one of the 183 United Nations (UN) member countries mostly from the third world, being targeted. The UN, funded by the rich countries, is the main player. Its principal arm is the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) which is now making a lot of noise advocating for a "stronger population management" and citing lack of "political commitment" in our family planning program.

And what is this global conspiracy? It is "a conspiracy against life involving international institutions, a war of the powerful against the weak" (Evangelium Vitae, pp.12 and 17). It is a war of "the rich nations (politically known as G-7 countries) against the poor Third World nations (the G-77 countries). The latter constitute 80 percent of the world’s population and therefore threaten the security of rich nations for global control. To ascertain this does not happen, a psychological and systematic warfare has been waged against poor countries. The hidden agenda is to suppress population growth as well as human life using scientific strategies, primarily through contraception and abortion" (Conspiracy Against Life, p.1 quoting Fr. Michel Schooyan). The U.S., with only a few Americans knowing it, has been chosen to lay the groundwork. The rationale for this design is that "US interests will be threatened by large populations in developing nations if they become restive from lack of access to economic well being... with the wrathful youth objecting to the presence of foreign corporations within the nations of Latin America, Asia and Africa" (Kissinger Report). This conspiracy may sound far fetched but the emerging patterns are too palpable to be ignored.

To be sure, there are tremendous pressures exerted on the Philippines because of its present economic situation making us dependent on the UN for development funds and loans with strings attached. This is really part of the plan to implement the population control program. Thailand is the model proving that the plan works as it adopted the population program of the conspirators because of its external debts to WB, IMF and other UN funding institutions. Thailand is now being cited as an example for us to emulate. Let us not fall into the same trap. Sooner or later, Thailand will also regret having adopted this population program like Singapore.

The truth is population control can be done without resorting to contraception. There are adequate and safe natural family planning methods available for spacing births and slowing down population growth. They are the best weapons for fighting this conspiracy against life. As the only Catholic country in Asia, we should be at the forefront of this war. Our limited government resources should be channeled to educating our people on these natural birth control methods, improving the health services for indigent mothers and children, assisting the extremely poor mothers in bringing out their children into this world, and subsidizing private initiatives aimed at helping victims of unwanted pregnancies. The taxpayer’s money should not be used to promote contraceptive mentality which is the main purpose of the conspirators against life.
