Father, son share P11.6 million lotto prize

Rainier Allan Ronda - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — A father and his 35-year-old son both won the P11.6-million jackpot in the Mega Lotto 6/45 drawn on Feb. 27.

The father and son, of San Pablo City, Laguna, claimed their lotto winnings at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) central office in Mandaluyong City on Feb. 28.

They won a total prize of P11,631,365.60, exclusive of the 20 percent tax.

The son said the winning numbers, 25-4-11-35-15-09, were combinations of the birth dates and ages of their family members.

The father said he copied his son’s lotto numbers pick.

They said they deposited the lotto winnings in the bank as they have yet to decide how to spend the money.
