WATCH: 'Toast the Best of Bread' brings classic 70s hits to Manila
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino fans of soft rock band Bread were brought back to the 1970s as tribute band Toast performed the group’s timeless hits at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, on August 12.
“Toast: The Best of Bread” featured classics such as “Make It with You,” “Everything I Own,” “Aubrey,” and “If.”
Filipino singer-songwriter Noel Cabangon also joined the concert as a special guest, performing his popular songs “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko” and “Tuloy Pa Rin.”
Toast members Jeff Clark, Brett Hart, Rich Bischoff, Robbie Lopez, Davie Rocks and Troy Jolley paid tribute to the original members of Bread, recreating the group’s signature sound and highlighting the musicians behind its enduring songs.
Presented by Ovation Productions, the concert was part of Toast’s Philippine tour, which also included stops in Davao and Cebu.
