President Marcos declares local holidays

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has issued nine proclamations declaring local holidays in various parts of the country.
The proclamations were signed by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto by the authority of President Marcos on June 25.
Proclamation 1324 declared June 29 a special non-working day in Mulanay, Quezon for the celebration of its town fiesta.
Proclamation 1325, meanwhile, declared July 25 a holiday in Dapitan City in Zamboanga del Norte to allow its residents to participate in the Kinabayo Festival.
Also signed were Proclamations 1326 and 1327, which declared July 23 a holiday in Batangas City and in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro, respectively, to mark their founding anniversaries.
Non-working days were declared on July 21 in Mabalacat, Pampanga (Proclamation 1328) and on July 10 in Santa Rosa City, Laguna (Proclamation 1329) to allow their residents to join the events celebrating the anniversary of their cityhood.
Proclamation 1330 declared July 15 a special non-working day in Mauban, Quezon for the celebration of Araw ng Mauban while Proclamation 1331 declared July 14 a holiday in Guihulngan City in Negros Oriental, which will celebrate its charter anniversary.
Malacañang also issued Proclamation 1332 declaring July 3 a holiday in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya to mark the celebration of Bambang Day.
