Disney sets series adaptation of 'A Man's Man' webtoon

MANILA, Philippines — Production has begun at streaming platform Disney+ for a live-action series adaptation of the popular webtoon "A Man's Man."
The webtoon, which has been viewed nearly 500 million times globally, follows ruthless businessman Han Yuh-yeon who becomes the youngest chief executive officer in one of Korea's largest conglomerates.
Yuh-yeon, however, has sacrificed everything to obtain the job and has no one to call family or friend, leaving him full of regret.
The executive wakes up suddenly 20 years in the past as a new employee but with his memories intact. Armed with knowledge of his past errors, Yuh-yeon sets on his path to the top anew with redirection, avoiding mistakes and rediscovering all he lost in his previous life.

"Deliver Us From Evil" and "Harbin" actor Park Jeong-min, who just won the Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actor - Film for "The Ugly," will lead the project as Yuh-yeon.
His "Light Shop" director Kim Hee-won, also an actor, will helm the series, while co-stars Bae Seong-woo and Seolhyun are also in the cast.
Seolhyun's participation will be a special guest capacity alongside "Running Man" icon Lee Kwang-soo, whose acting credits last year include "The Manipulated," "The Divorce Insurance," and "Karma."
Completing the cast are "D.P." actors Kim Ji-hyun and Moon Sang-hoon, the latter also making an appearance in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
