'Dedma': Anne Curtis laughs off 'power couple blind item' link
MANILA, Philippines — Host-actress Anne Curtis brushed away talks that she and husband Erwan Heussaff were the subject of a viral "blind item" involving a "power couple."
Anne appeared on the February 5 episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" as part of the talk show's third anniversary celebration to promote her upcoming movie "The Loved One" which she stars opposite Jericho Rosales.
Midway through the episode while discussing the movie, Boy asked Anne if she and Erwan ever fought after comparing how each present themselves individually in videos.
"Oo naman! I think normal lang naman sa isang relayson [mag-away]," Anne said. "Usually its about really petty things, in fact si Erwan pa 'yung type na hindi nakikipag-away. It's like calm and crazy, so we're never clashing ever."
She did admit not being as jealous as before, citing such an attitude withers away with age, adding that Erwan is the same.
Boy then brought up the "power couple blind item" that made the rounds last month and shared that some people namedropped Anne and Erwan as a possible duo in question.
Anne appeared surprised by the revelation, laughing as she shared knowing about the issue but not that she and Erwan were being linked.
"Ang taray naman ng power couple! I don't know if I would consider Erwan and I a power couple, but thank you for considering us," Anne laughed some more.
The actress credited her longevity in the entertainment business to being able to dodge controversies, "I still live by that same motto I came up with years ago, learn the art of dedma."
Later in the episode, Anne talked about her and Erwan's daughter Dahlia, sister-in-law Solenn Heussaff, sister Jasmine, and the passing of their father James.
