Lauren Young gets engaged to ‘best friend’

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Lauren Young is happy to be engaged to her “best friend.” 

Lauren revealed on Thursday, February 5, that she said yes to the marriage proposal of her longtime boyfriend Toby Panlilio. 

“Yes, yes, and yes!!! I’m gonna marry my best friend,” she wrote in all caps in her Instagram carousel post. 

She posted photos of her fiance on bended knees and of her sparkling engagement ring. 

Lauren is the younger sister of beauty queen-actress Megan Young. 

The actress has been inactive in TV shows, with her last main role in the 2021 GMA romance anthology “Never Say Goodbye,” co-starring with Klea Pineda and Jak Roberto.
