Mikoy Morales, Esteban Mara secure about their sexuality
MANILA, Philippines — Actors Mikoy Morales and Esteban Mara shared being secure about their sexuality contributes to successfully portraying roles in the boys love (BL) vertical series "Got My Eyes on You."
In an interview with the media including Philstar.com during the series' official launch of the series, Mikoy said working with Esteban was so easy for him.
"Yes, me, I'm confident [about my sexuality]," Mikoy said, praising Esteban's professionalism and discipline.
"Above all, especially in these roles, it's important that he is secure in his identity," Mikoy continued. "There's no room for awkwardness. It's easy to jump into a scene with him because there’s no malice from him."
Esteban mirrored Mikoy's comments, even echoing his security about his own sexuality.
"Like [what Mikoy] said, it's what makes it easy for us to portray the characters because it's clear to us what needs to be portrayed; we know once the camera starts rolling, it's Shawn and Drew already," Esteban said, referring to their characters on the series.
"Got My Eyes on You" is taking over TikTok with its vibrant and fun episodes dominating For You Pages and commenters asking for more.
