K-pop boy group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is turning up the excitement for their upcoming concert in Manila, with their recent collaborative single Do It Like That with the Jonas Brothers being included in their setlist.

The quintet — composed of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai — surprised fans when they dropped the summer dance anthem with Joe, Nick and Kevin of the American pop-rock band of siblings, Jonas Brothers.

Released on June 22, Do It Like That features fun dance moves and catchy lyrics that fans of both bands won’t stop grooving to.

The official music video of the collaboration track also features the Jonas Brothers on the guitars grooving to the bouncy choreography from TXT members.

Do It Like That is produced by songwriter and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who’s previously written for Jonas Brothers and is also known for having written or co-written megahits for other hitmakers such as Taylor Swift (I Know Places), Leona Lewis (Bleeding Love), Beyonce (Halo), Ed Sheeran (Happier), Miley Cyrus (Angels Like You), Timbaland (Apologize feat. OneRepublic), among many others.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, TXT hinted about performing their new single live on stage for their upcoming tour in Asia, which includes a stop in the Philippines at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Aug. 13.

The boys of TXT are regarded as global Gen Z icons for their musical narratives, which focus on the everyday experiences and emotions of youth across the globe.

TXT is set to return as the first K-pop group headliners at the 2023 Lollapalooza this August, after becoming the first K-pop group to perform at the annual American festival in 2022.

After debuting in 2019, the K-pop phenom has been listed at the top of Billboard’s “25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2021: Critics’ Picks” with the group’s 2021 release, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, while the subsequent album The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE was featured on Rolling Stone’s “The 50 Best Albums of 2021” list as the only album by a Korean act.

TXT’s newest EP, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, released in January this year debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart.

TXT’s world tour, Act: Sweet Mirage, in Bulacan is presented by Live Nation Philippines.

This will mark the K-pop idol group’s return to the country after holding a two-night show in Manila last October 2022.
