Dennis Trillo, Patrick Garcia meet at Jennylyn son’s party

MANILA, Philippines – Dennis Trillo and Patrick Garcia’s paths crossed at Jennylyn Mercado’s son 7th birthday party.

The two guys are Jennylyn's ex-boyfriends. Patrick is the father of Jennylyn's son, Alex Jazz. He's now married to Nikka Martinez, and they both arrived in the party with their daughter Chelsea.

Dennis, meanwhile, is being linked again with the Kapuso actress, who happened to be his leading lady in the GMA TV series "My Faithful Husband."

In an interview on Thursday, Dennis said there’s no awkwardness between him and Patrick.

“Nagkakilala naman na kami noon,” he explained. “Hindi na kami nakapag-usap [ni Patrick]. Nagkita lang kami, kumain, nanood sa mga bata, gano’n lang.”

As for his relationship with Jennylyn, Dennis prefers to “keep things private.”

“Mas masaya lang siguro kami na hindi pinag-uusapan ‘yon,” Dennis added.

The two had denied in previous interviews that they’re getting back together, and insisted that they’re just friends.

Although he remains single, Dennis said he believes in marriage, but the right time for him to settle down has yet to arrive.

“Darating na lang siguro ‘yon kapag naramdaman ko na. Pero sa ngayon, marami pang dapat pagkaabalahan, doon muna,” he explained.

Aside from his TV show, Dennis has been busy working on the film “Felix Manalo,” where he played the title role.

The film narrates Felix Manalo’s “search for truth” and how he became Iglesia Ni Cristo’s first executive minister.

“Felix Manalo” also stars Bela Padilla, who portrays Felix Manalo’s wife Honorata. It is directed by Joel C. Lamangan” and will be in cinemas starting October 7.
