What makes Café de Malate special

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Starting out as a small place along Leon Guinto St. in the ’80s, Cafe de Malate has since become a venue frequented by celebrities, government officials and other people who want to have fun.

Café de Malate provides a cozy and homey atmosphere while offering an unforgettable experience that honors the music and the movie idols from the ’60s to the present.

Not only is it an elegant place to hang out in, Café de Malate also lives up to the restaurant name as it serves different types of food ranging from Japanese, Chinese, Filipino to American cuisines. If not the best, the Crispy Pata of Café de Malate is considered to be one of the tastiest around today, and the Buttered Chicken has proven to be an all-time favorite for customers and guests.

Café de Malate has function, garden and music rooms for Christmas, baptismals, birthdays and other social events.

Café de Malate is open every night from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m, from Monday to Saturday where female singers will be performing regularly.
