Maja on Gerald-Kim ‘reunion’: ‘Wala akong isyu sa lahat’

Chuck Smith - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Maja Salvador shrugs off intrigues stemming from Gerald Anderson’s recent “reunion” with his ex, Kim Chiu.

Gerald and Kim were recently seen together in a photo shoot for an accessory brand they both endorse. The two — who became a couple following their stint in the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” but broke up in 2010 — last worked together in 2012 for the romantic comedy movie “24/7… In Love.”

Peachy Bautista, the Kapamilya actress’ road manager, posted a photo of the two during the said shoot on her Instagram account.

But Maja is unaffected by Gerald’s project with Kim, saying their work is separate from their personal lives.

“Syempre, pag work, work. Wala naman tayong ano dun… Wala akong isyu sa lahat, okay ako sa lahat,” she said in an interview with ABS-CBN news program “TV Patrol” aired Tuesday, March 4.

Gerald and Maja became a couple last year. Their relationship was the reportedly cause of the rift between Kim and Maja.

The 25-year-old actress said she simply dismisses criticism about her relationship with the Kapamilya actor, particularly recent rumors that they're no longer a couple. “Hinahayaan na lang namin, e. Mas okay yung mas tahimik. Hayaan mo na ang sila mag-isip kung ano yung nangyayari talaga,” Maja told “TV Patrol.”

Maja is currently part of the drama “The Legal Wife” while Gerald is one of Anne Curtis’ leading men in the upcoming TV remake of “Dyesebel.”

Meanwhile, Kim pairs up with Coco Martin in the series “Ikaw Lamang.”
