Jose Manalo marries former EB Babe Gene Maranan 

MANILA, Philippines — Host Jose Manalo has tied the knot with former EB Babe dancer Mergene “Gene” Maranan on Tuesday, December 17. 

Videos and photos of the couple getting married in the island of Boracay were uploaded by their celebrity guests, which included his "Eat Bulaga" co-hosts Allan K, Maine Mendoza and Paolo Ballesteros. 

Former Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chair Liza Dino posted photos of the newly married couple on her Instagram and Facebook pages. 

Jose’s “Eat Bulaga” co-host Maine Mendoza posted the couple’s photo, with Gene in her bridal gown and Jose in his suit, along the seashore looking over a gorgeous sunset on her Instagram story. 

Ice Seguerra similarly posted a photo from the wedding, showing Jose bestowing a kiss on Gene. 

The couple announced their engagement earlier this month via social media posts. 

Jose was previously married to his wife Anna Lyn Santos, who died in 2022.
