According to reports, the actor died after he attended a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide in support of relief efforts for the victims of Yolanda, which hit the country early last month.

Its official Facebook page described Reach Out Worldwide as a “quick-response, mobile first aid organization aiding in rescue and recovery after major natural disasters around the globe.” It was formed by Walker, star of the hit “Fast and the Furious” movie franchise, in 2010. Days before his passing, Walker tweeted about the relief operations being done by his organization.

The late actor also thanked his “Fast and the Furious” cast mates for rallying with him in support of his relief efforts for Yolanda.

In a video uploaded Nov, 22 on the video sharing site YouTube, Walker and other “Fast and the Furious” cast members Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriquez, among others, rallied their fans to help out victims of the super typhoon.

Last May, Vin Disel, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans, and Gina Carano — stars of the 2012 movie “Fast and Furious 6” — were in the country for the Asian premiere of their film.
