The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban, Pooh Garcia and Jason Gainza shared their experience during the 7.2 magnitude earthquake incident in Visayas on Tuesday morning, Oct. 15.

The three Kapamilya stars and the other cast members of ABS-CBN gag show “Banana Nite” were there in Bohol to tape an out-of-town episode.

In a series of posts in Angelica’s Instagram account, she narrated bits of events that they witnessed in Tagbilaran Bohol.

She first took a photo of the Tagbilaran City Hall with a caption, “Pray for Bohol... Pray for our safety.. God Bless Philippines..”

The actress also thanked the people who provided food for them while they stayed outside the Tagbilaran City Hall.

Meanwhile, in a post in his Instagram account, Pooh said that they were asked to stay there so that they’ll be safe in case of tsunami incident.

He also shared a photo of people outside the Tagbilaran airport relating, “Pahabol... Naglalabasan lahat ng tao sa loob ng airport pag me mga after shocks! #boholearthquake”

As of posting time, Angelica posted a photo collage that summarized their experience in Bohol, and also informing her followers that they’re now in Manila.

In the caption she said, “Ang buong araw namin.. Tulong tulong tayo pinas :) mag dasal tayong lahat. At the end of the day, kaya pa din natin ngumiti sa lahat ng 'to. Nag work siya sakin. :)”

In an interview aired today, Oct. 16, in the morning show “Mornings at ANC,” which was taken while they were still in Bohol, Gainza narrated that they were in the bus when the earthquake happened,

As Angelica cited how the people we’re crying, worried for their lives and their loved ones, Pooh was then emotional when asked what was going on in his mind while the earthquake was happening.

“Siyempre natatakot ako. Kasi iba ito san a-experience ko noong 1991, bata pa ako no’n,” he said.
