Bong as Indio wins more fans

MANILA, Philippines - As the plot of Indio, the GMA epicserye, continues to spring surprises, Sen. Bong Revilla (in the title role) said that he’s falling deeper in love with the role as he gains more fans.

“That’s why I’m more inspired,” added Bong. “I look forward to every taping day.”

The Senate is on recess, so Bong also takes time out from his busy Indio schedule to campaign for his son Jolo Revilla (with Bong and wife Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado, photo) who is running for vice governor in Cavite with Jonvic Remulla as running mate.

With the three Revilla stars, plus the dashing Jonvic, on the campaign trail, it’s not surprising why big crowds greet them anywhere they go.

“We owe the Caviteños’ trust in us to our father, former Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr.,” conceded Bong. “Sa kanya kami nagmana sa hangaring maglingkod sa bayan.”
