Perya queen in Tunay Na Buhay

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - On Dec. 15, Rhea Santos meets Susana Borja. Born and raised with no hands, Susana has learned to do everything using her feet. Some people say that her physical condition was brought about by her mother’s strange liking for mannequins when she was still pregnant with her. She grew up being ridiculed by people, even by her family members, because of her physical deformity.

When she was 16, she decided to leave home and joined a group of perya performers to earn a living. Even without hands, she can eat, write and do the laundry — all by herself using her feet.

At the perya, she met her first and second husbands with whom she has seven children. It has become her second home. But until when will she play the “freak act”? How far will her feet take her? Find out in Tunay na Buhay after Wattajob! on GMA 7.
