Zsa Zsa & Zia in Mother's Day show at Megaworld

MANILA, Philippines - Another talented set of performers is going to grace the stage of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls this month. Zsa Zsa Padilla (right) and daughter Zia Quizon (far right) are set to perform in a special mother-daughter concert at Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill, Eastwood Mall and Lucky Chinatown tomorrow, May 13, and on May 19 and 20.

The tandem will touch the heart of everyone, especially during this season for mothers. Zsa Zsa started her solo career fronting the concert Music and Magic at the Philippine Plaza. Following this were other appearances that honed her talent and gave her confidence as a performer. Her perseverance paid off as she started garnering spots in shows like Patok Na Patok and Penthouse Live, among others. Years later, she had her first major concert in 1984. She’s able to sing across many genres including pop, ballads, rock, new wave and rhythm and blues. Nowadays, one can catch her in movies and on TV.

Zia does not fall far from the tree. Her latest venture into show business made her an instant darling to viewers. Her debut was in a father-daughter duet in the album Handog ni Pidol: A Lifetime Of Music and Laughter. She’s also among the select artists who sang the official United Nations Anti-Poverty Campaign song. She appears in A.S.A.P. segment Acoustic Republic. The uniqueness of her voice in rendering the blues promises her an interesting career.
