Malaysian actress co-hosts E! News Asia

MANILA, Philippines - Catch Malaysian actress Maya Karin (right) as she co-hosts E!’s weekly magazine show, E! News Asia with Dominic Lau (photo) on all Sundays of March at 8:30 p.m. Together, Maya and Dominic give you the scoop on the biggest entertainment stories from Hollywood and throughout Asia.

Maya began her entertainment career in 2000 when she accidentally landed a job as an infotainment host in Wavelength. Soon after, she embarked on bigger adventures by signing up for the lead in the drama thriller Sri dewi Malam, followed by the release of her debut album Erti cinta in the same year. Maya has also dabbled in VJ hosting and was voted the Best VJ in Star Buzz Editor’s Choice Awards in 2006. She is also known for her lead roles in the critically-acclaimed movies, Waris Jari Hantu, Anak Halal, 1957 Hati Malaya, Punggok Rindukan Bulan and Duyung (Mermaid).

Maya is also the face behind such famous brands as Wella, Pantene, Yishion and Halle. She is the ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, Celcom Communications and Nescafé.
