Star Artists feted on Hairdressers' Day

MANILA, Philippines - Outstanding men and women in their respective fields were feted by Fil-Hair Co-op during the Hairdressers’ Day 2011 held at the Palacio de Manila last Oct. 26.

The honorees who also sat as members of the board of judges and dubbed Star Artists 2011 are Isabel de Leon (Journalism), Catherine Untalan (Environmental Education), Athena Imperial (Miss Philippines 2011), Donald Tapan (Photography), Ma. Teresa Pabular and Sonia Santiago (Fashion Modeling) and Pando Manipon (Impersonation).

Other honorees are Marides Fernando (Public Governance), Wilma Galvante (Entertainment TV Production), Ogee Atos (Choreography and Fashion Direction), Evangeline Pascual (former Miss Philippines-World), Regine Tolentino (Dance), Lorraine Schuck (Beauty Queen Maker), Imelda Papin (Music) and Frederick Peralta (Fashion Design).

A blow-by-blow account of the annual Fil-Hair grand event and the musical competition Sing-Alike will be presented on GMA News TV’s Life & Style with Gandang Ricky Reyes this Saturday, 10 to 11 a.m. Ricky Reyes (photo) hosts.
