Band & singing tilt at Sta. Lucia
MANILA, Philippines - Calling amateur bands and singers. Here’s your chance to shine and win big prizes as well.
Join Sta. Lucia Mall’s The Groove, a band and singing competition. The tilt has two categories: First, the band competition is open to amateur bands with three to eight members, male or female, aged 15 and above. Groups may perform in an acoustic or full-band set-up; second is for amateur singing individuals, duos or groups. The group must have three to five male and female members aged at least 15.
Repertoire for both categories must be OPM or foreign hits from the ’80s to the present.
Category one grand winners will get P70,000 worth of cash and gift certificates. Category two grand winners, on the other hand, will get P40,000 worth of cash and gift certificates.
Elimination rounds are on Aug. 20 and 27 and Sept. 3, 10 and 27, 7 p.m. at The Brick Road, Sta. Lucia Mall.
